The River Forest Park District's Party in the Park returns Thursday, July 30, with free live music, food, and activities for all ages at Washington Commons Park.
The Yankee Cowboy Band, a Chicagoland country rock trio, headlines the 90-minute evening. The district is also providing a bounce house, lawn games, grilled hot dogs, chips, and dessert. Mathnasium sponsors the July installment, the second in the district's summer series after a June 18 edition at the same venue.
Attendees should bring picnic blankets or lawn chairs.
